North Dakota is a Midwestern region state within the U.S. that borders Canada to the north. While the capital is actually Bismarck, the largest city is Fargo. Even though North Dakota is quite large, it’s actually one of the least populated with only 650,000 residents.
North Dakota is located in an area that is known as the high plains. Overall, the state is quite flat, but does have some considerable hills and buttes in the western portion of the state. The climate is one of the most unique in the world. North Carolina suffers the most extreme temperature deviation of any other place on the planet. This is due to its continental climate, with very cold winters and hot summers. Historically, the state has seen temperatures as low as 60 below freezing, and as high as 120 degrees.
Extreme weather aside, there are definitely some experienced North Dakota bankruptcy attorneys within the state. Fargo is home to some of the best, so it’d be a good idea to start your research there. Make sure to sit down with a couple different firms before deciding on who you’ll go with. Do your best to go with your instincts.
If the firm seems kind of shady, and not someone you’d like to business with, feel free to go someplace else. You don’t owe them anything. (Unless you signed a contract and now you owe them a consultation fee.) Avoid that by asking if they offer free consultations!
